Tucker's Daughter : ウィキペディア英語版 | Tucker's Daughter
"Tucker's Daughter" was the first single from former Cold Chisel guitarist Ian Moss. Co-written by Moss and his Cold Chisel bandmate Don Walker, the song reached No. 1 on the Australia Artists singles chart on 20 March 1989 (and #2 on the ARIA Singles Chart). "Tucker's Daughter" became the first track on Moss's album ''Matchbook'', released six months later. The album also went to No. 1. Together, this song and the album helped Moss win five ARIA Awards. "Tucker's Daughter" tells of a labourer who finds himself the attention of his employer's daughter, but does not return her affections. Author of the lyrics, Don Walker, would later describe how Ian Moss would send him pieces of music including certain phrases that he would like included in places within the song. He said, "Ian sent "Tucker's Daughter" on a cassette express airmail from Los Angeles where he was, and he had the melody but the only lyric he had was, 'Hey there, motherfucker.' Right through the rest of the song. I couldn't use that, but I recognised that it had a certain percussive force". ==Music video==
The start of the video depicts Tucker's daughter, a young woman, walking through a field. Several scenes feature Ian Moss singing and playing his guitar inside a barn. Although Moss does not react to the young woman's affection in the song; three black and white scenes during the video depict the two having a romantic encounter.
